Gifts of insurance
You can invest in our Jewish future and make a significant impact by leveraging life insurance. When purchasing a life insurance policy that names CJP as both owner and beneficiary, CJP redeems the policy after your passing, and the proceeds support the community. Or perhaps you have an existing life insurance policy that has outlasted its original intent and can instead be used for charitable purposes.

Benefits of gifts of life insurance
- If you transfer ownership of an existing policy, you may be eligible for a charitable income tax deduction for the value of the policy
- With a CJP owned policy, you may qualify for charitable income tax deductions by making annual gifts, while CJP pays the premiums
- By naming CJP as a beneficiary, your estate may benefit from an estate tax charitable deduction
How to make a gift of life insurance
Please contact your life insurance provider to apply for a new policy or to make changes to an existing policy. You can designate CJP as a partial, full, or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
